    Luca Connell got double figures for Queens park so no reason he can't score a few. Kane scored goals for Donny, Aitchison can score too.

    Understandable to see what’s happening. People still thinking about how $hit these players were last year. Totally different kettle of fish now. With proper fitness and some actual leadership from the management team, this group of players should be more than competitive in top 10 at L1 standard. As long as you’re that, top 6 is always in reach.

    I expect my attacking midfielder to score 10+ a season. Can't see that lot getting 10 between them even if 3 started every week.

    Not expecting much are you.

    Not even KDB gets 10+ goals every season from CM and he's arguably the best attacking midfielder in the world.

    Looks to me like we could put out a solid team utilising Duff's preferred 3-5-2 formation. Also looks like we have zero creativity.

    If were playing 352 you would be hoping the wing backs could create some goals. The lad from forest green got 12 assists from wing back last season and then on the otherside brittain and Williams will be hoping to get a few assists.

    We need a midfielder we who can contribute with goals and create them and if budget allows another striker. Get those two and it will have been a fantastic window considering all the selling we’ve done/still have to do

    Hourihane got 13 and 10 in his two seasons in League One and he wasn't even an attacking midfielder.

    If you can find a CM in our budget that will guarantee 10+ a season at this level I am all ears. Conor was incredible for us no doubt, but the league is much tougher now. He has just joined Derby and won't get near those stats this season. I doubt any CM will.

    We don't also play with an attacking midfielder in the traditional sense either. From what I have seen from Duff so far, we have one sitting a little deeper in front of the back 3 then 2 slightly ahead. I would be astounded if anyone in that system gets 10+ a season. The best CM Duff had a Cheltenham Callum Wright never hit 10+ in a season in the Duff system.

    Sounds like were going to be grinding out 1nil wins more than being the league’s entertainer’s with lots of goals but that’s fine with me .

    Duff won L2 with Cheltenham scoring just 61 goals, which is the lowest for a L2 champion team for many years. We look very good defensively, I don’t think we will need to be getting 70 plus to achieve promotion. Expect a lot of 1-0s 2-1s
