Just ordered a Chinese with the wife because I've just gone to pan fry some chicken but it was green. So we've sacked that off. Anyway, what's everyone's favourite? I've gone for Chinese tonight, because there's one in Swinton that's a belter. But I do prefer a curry if I'm eating out. What say you?
Depends on what I fancy in the moment. Chinese and Indian equally. Buffet style. has to be Chinese. So on that basis Chinese. Do like a kebab though on occasion. Donner that is. Don't like pizza at all. Why haven't you added Fish n chips btw.
I’ve just had Thai. Absolutely gorgeous food. Patty’s in cudeth. Not the cheapest but I think it’s way better than the others, more of a now n agen as a treat as it’s just cost me a tenner just for 1 meal
Chinese for me, I prefer the variety of dishes. Peperoncino in town do great pizzas but prices have been going up.
Indian my fave, but as a sit down restaurant meal, always find it's just not the same as a takeaway, same with a Chinese. So for me, takeaway of choice is a kebab.
There was a take away down London about 13 years ago I visited when going to watch England play - Kenyan food, believe it or not. Absolutely delicious
Thai for me. Lighter and less greasy than Chinese. That one in Market Kitchen is superb. Stir fried chicken and veg with cashew nuts, my mouths drooling.
sun mei down mapp for chinese or umars/tandoori hut, new lodge for indian, handy for me in monk bretton
Thai food is probably the easiest of all the takeaways to authentically recreate at home. I went on a Thai cooking course when we were on holiday there. The only remotely tricky thing is if you want to make your own curry paste, but if you get a decent brand the bought ones are so good it's not worth the faffing. Once you've got your paste, making a Thai curry really is absolutely idiot-proof.
