I was going to say Kevin Betsy as he's highly rated at Arsenal, but he's off to Crawley..... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...sy-fourth-tier-ENDED-Emma-Hayes-interest.html
It'd be one way to energise the fan base. Could he do it again? I'd like to find out. I know they say never go back and I immediately think about Wilson's second stint but what a season in league one last time around. It'd surely convince a few others sat on the fence season ticket wise. Fairly sure it's not Big Mick, by the way.
https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/a...-pre-season-start-with-new-board-set-to-speak “ Barnsley’s last six head coaches have been foreign but this time it is understood that some of the candidates are vastly experienced in English football – including some with previous links to the Oakwell club. “
Why would he join a league one club in shambles on 4k a week, instead of getting atleast 4x that in the championship? Hes literally just 31 mate. I've seen loads of people say this, and its just daft. Football isn't what it used to be like in the 80s. Everyone crying out we need experience, but people are always suggesting people without literally 0 experience, just because they're British. We need to reel in some of these expectations lads!!
My comment was on what I would like not on what I expected or hoped to happen , calm yourself down ! The next manager to me does need experience of the English leagues but he does not have to be British, I for one would not be against such as JFH or someone with the same kind of experience
Surely he can't do it? He said on Radio Sheffield a month ago, he is booked up for the remainder of the year doing a speaking tour and promoting his books. So not free till next February.
If we appoint Warnock then I guess Kevin Blackwell will take training through the week & Warnock work on match days.
