Yes, wasn't there. I was DJing a private party for the owners of Ossett Brewery. I got all my kit set up & sidled off to a local pub to watch it. Needless to say I smashed the gig after that.

Was there. Outnumbered but felt like we were loudest. We got hammered and **** knows how they didn't score.

Also I was 13 at the time and remember being stuck in a lift with my dad for about an hour. Like a scene from only fools haha

I stayed in Mrthyr Tydfill. Went out round Cardiff the night before the game and got a taxi back.

Always remember meeting that bloke from Britain's roughest pubs. He was a gent of a man. Got talking about Leeds and Chelsea. Had some good banter.

After match got bus back to Mrythr and Garry from Macey's rest his soul was buying everyone drinks good times.

Was on a night out in Cairns. Mate called me at about 3am and told me we'd done it. I'd just had a post-pub Mcds. Was buzzing.

We’d lost mam very suddenly in March of that year, so me, dad and 2 brothers and families all travelled together to the game. What a picture of my dad at the end celebrating with his scarf tied around his walking stick waving it and smiling and singing. Sure gave us all the pick me up we all so badly needed

I lost my Mam the Friday before. Her funeral was on the day before the Play Off Final. I'd have loved to go down to the match, but my responsibilities rested with my kids, who were still suffering from grief. As soon as we won, I received phone calls from The Full Ponty, AliTyke & Dragon Tyke,. It was wonderful that they had been thinking of me at that instance when it'd have been quite understandable for them to be lost in the moment, as it were.

Isn't it weird how we remember that for the people no longer with us. I'm a bit teary now. I'm just daft.

I miss those days and people with all my heart.
