I'd definitely speak to someone like I mentioned earlier. Im not sure about the sun glare question, I assume it has because that hasn't been a problem for me. Everything looks amazing in them, that's for sure. Polarising glasses are great.

Quite a few Rayban styles on offer in TK Maxx at the moment - dunno if they do the stuff you're after but thought I'd mention in case it piques your interest  link

    Agree with Helen
I'd advise you to see an optician if the ophthalmologists at the hospital won't/can't give you the answer. The opticians are generally independent of the stores and only give you the required levels of lenses In writing. You do not have to buy from the store re the lenses or frames. Which can be as cheap or as dear as you like. Plain/polarising sunglasses may not be for you whether they be expensive ones or not. The lenses have to be right. That's the main thing imho. I wouldn't personally risk it to chance. Good luck anyway on whatever you decide.

Could I offer some assistance here.
If the sun is your only problem why don’t you move house to say somewhere like here in Dundee.
We only get the sun 1 day a year. It’s June 29th this year. So stay in on that date and your problems are solved.

Polarising sunglasses. You either love em or hate em.

On a serious point, does everyone know that wearing sunglasses with poor UV protection is worse than not wearing sunglasses at all because the pupil dilates letting in even more UV? I didn't until recently so thought I'd mention it.

My problem with sunglasses is my head is so big most glasses look daft as if my eyes are too close together. Oakleys, Ray Bans... all off the table. Just far too small.
