agree with you totally on the state of things on a match day. it's shocking. I've been totally underwhelmed by the CEO so far, however it's been a $hit show all round and most people have been levelling that at ownership rather than the CEO. I'm prepared to give him a bit of a fresh start under the new regime. see how it pans out.
I think the CEOs done very well over the last year with everything we've found out about in the last week or so. The West stand for problems. He spoke about them. As a West Stander (I know people like Farnham might think differently) it was more of a communication problem than anything else. We get a few wins and things start to pick up you'll be enjoying the football again i would imagine.
Fai Fair enough but I think a new CEO with a fresh impetus and would be far better. I just go on intial impressions and I’m not convinced he’s up to the job
I'm no fan of this CEO from whats been evidenced to date but changing at this moment given the board has had a significant rejig, that we're without a head coach, that we need to sell or exit a significant proportion of our squad, it isn't the best of timings to make a change. Especially given a new CEO/MD would likely have a period of gardening leave before he could join and we'd be back in similar territory to last season. Given Conway has exited the scene, the CEO has a fresh slate. Our previous CEO's have often been poor initially, though I'm not sure anyone has quite had the shocker this ones had to date. It could be with stronger board management and holding him to account that we see something much better in the coming months. I'll give him the next two windows and see if his interviews improve. He badly needs some media training and I'd hope that's now been/being addressed. And I do wish we'd ditch the CEO moniker. We're a small business that's privately owned, not a multinational plc.
