Todays news should sell a few more season tickets. As many myself included were reluctant to give there hard earned cash to conman and his pals.
Obviously clarity on where lee and conman will be permanently leaving the club rather than just taking a step back would sell even more and possibly a statement from the new directors on taking the club forward. But today is a good day.

Conman and chien are still there. They’ve just been put out of the way to help season ticket sales .
    I’m not fooled easily !

It’s a significant change and having those people away from any decision making is a positive step but in terms of Not a Penny More I guess the owners haven’t changed so the end recipients of any monies spent remains the same. Tricky one. Think I will have to think about it.

Very much where I am. I'm open to returning but I think I may adopt a wait and see approach.

I was never in the NAPM camp personally, but was still wavering over renewing, just from generally being fkd off.

The news today has done enough for me to renew, but still totally get why some aren’t.

This ‘they’re still running things’ thinking though. Just find it weird.

Clearly they have been removed from day to day decision making which can only be a good thing. Would assume that the others had them removed so they must have had the shares to do that or those with the shares believed their ‘place men’ had failed.

In terms of anyone investing in the ground or playing side I’d imagine that is further away than ever as why would the now silent partner(s) have any desire to invest now when they didn’t when they had a say.

It’s definitely good news but too early imo to say how good.

Think the CEO mentioned at some point that they are in talks with the Barnsley council about improving the ground and might have mentioned an extension of the lease if needed to get that to happen.

Might be wrong as can't remember everything he's said recently.

Id much rather they were totally out of the club and hopefully will be sooner rather than later. But still running things? Chien lee never had much involvement apart from the odd tweet and meeting his mate(owner of wolves at oakwell) conway has been involved on and off but has gone quiet since his latest **** up, grace hung who?

Agreed mate. Still a very long list of things to fix. For now though I’m just over the fkn moon that Conway & Lee no longer have any say on decisions at Barnsley Football Club

Yeah there’s a long queue behind you wanting the same. A part of me hopes that now they’re off Board and no longer paid Directors, there’s less incentive for them to retain shares…we’ll see.

Let us have a moment in all the gloom. Today is a happy day.

They were backed by investors that could see their investment was going for a Burton, pardon the pun. Voting them off the decision making seats is good enough for me.

Between the lines the rich fuddy duddies Conway thought were just funding his investment vehicle have had their say.

    Thank God.

Lets see what happens regarding retaining players & recruitment. It will give us a better idea about their intentions.

A good signing and a quality manager (not coach) and I maybe persuaded . Until then I’m still out I’m afraid

Feels like a change to the window display rather than anything of real substance. I will happily be proved utterly wrong.
