Cardiff, Luton, Bournemouth, QPR, Fulham, and loads more but can't even be arsed going 13 miles tonight to a place I walked to for charity a couple or so years ago. A place I commuted to for best part of 12 years for 5 days a week. I think that's me done.
I've been to Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Minnesota, Buffalo, Toronto, Winslow, Sarasota, Wichita, Tulsa, Ottawa, Oklahoma, Tampa, Panama, Mattawa, La Paloma, Bangor, Baltimore, Salvador, Amarillo, Tocopilla, Barranquilla, and Padilla, I'm a killer. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere, man. Crossed the desert's bare, man. I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've a-had my share, man. I've been everywhere. I've been to Boston, Charleston, Dayton, Louisiana, Washington, Houston, Kingston, Texarkana, Monterey, Faraday, Santa Fe, Tallapoosa, Glen Rock, Black Rock, Little Rock, Oskaloosa, Tennessee to Hennessey, Chicopee, Spirit Lake, Grand Lake, Devil's Lake, Crater Lake, for Pete's sake. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere, man. Crossed the desert's bare, man. I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've a-had my share, man. I've been everywhere. I've been to Louisville, Nashville, Knoxville, Ombabika, Schefferville, Jacksonville, Waterville, Costa Rica, Pittsfield, Springfield, Bakersfield, Shreveport, Hackensack, Cadillac, Fond du Lac, Davenport, Idaho, Jellico, Argentina, Diamantina, Pasadena, Catalina, see what I mean-a. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere, man. Crossed the desert's bare, man. I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've a-had my share, man. I've been everywhere. I've been to Pittsburgh, Parkersburg, Gravelbourg, Colorado, Ellensburg, Rexburg, Vicksburg, El Dorado, Larimore, Admore, Haverstraw, Chatanika, Chaska, Nebraska, Alaska, Opelika, Baraboo, Waterloo, Kalamazoo, Kansas City, Sioux City, Cedar City, Dodge City, what a pity. I've been everywhere, man. I've been everywhere, man. Crossed the desert's bare, man. I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've a-had my share, man. I've been everywhere. I've been everywhere. Except Huddersfield.
I know the feeling. I was sad catching the Penistone line train home from Huddersfield as fans from both sides were arriving in to town for the game. I can't remember the last time I missed us playing them home or away in any competition. Watching us away there through the good times of the play offs and the bad times of the night game where Simon Baldry scored in the last minute and Nicky Eaden was almost in tears to his mum on the phone hobbling back on to the team coach.
Based in Meltham now and it's a lot closer to the John Smith's Stadium than it is Jokewell. I was offered a ticket in the home end to sit with my in laws who are big town fans but I can't do it.
Well I will buck the trend , I am looking forward to the match & hopefully 3 points & I know it will not alter things & I accepted relegation well before xmas which I think has made it easier for me , I always want to watch my team & it is a lot easier knowing there is no pressure on the result, when we had to beat Brentford I could hardly bare to watch but tonight I just hope we play well , hope we win & hope I enjoy the match & if we lose it doesn"t matter we can try again on tuesday
