That beggars belief. Nice bloke he may well be, but has shown absolutely nothing to indicate he knows how to manage a football team. The weird, haphazard approach to substitutions alone should be enough to send him packing. The only way we'll have stability come August is for the new fella to come in NOW and start preparing with the players who'll make up his starting XI next season.
For the most part, I cant fault the effort of our best 11. Every substitution made us weaker and the players weren't fit enough to last all game, every game. Any change whatsoever to our starting 11 made us significantly weaker. The negative tactics have been appalling by the manager and for that he needs to go because it wouldn't have been that hard to guide this group to safety in my opinion.
I took this as pretty much meaning he won’t be here. Although the “headline” in the tweet leads more to that than the actual article. Surely he can’t keep his job?
Option 8. Get Luke Steele back on an emergency loan. Get him to dribble the ball around his box for 95 minutes on his own then slam one into top bins for a last second OG to put us all out of our misery.
One certain player spent more time on his knees after the final whistle than he did on the ball in the previous 95.
Stop talking sh**e Poya - "dance really well to continue", "we got pushed down" etc - the stuff he says is becoming as bad as Morais.
I hope these players are told in no uncertain terms at full time what a bunch of pathetic losers they are. If they even so much as dare go over to the fans then they should be told to **** off.
Doubt it. Who by? There's no one on the pitch or off it. Actually, mebbi Carlton. Other than that, nothing.
Carlton aside the rest of them have been a disgrace. It would be nice if the fans could actually say that to them but they won't dare come close enough. Most of my in laws are big town fans so tonight's game is huge! I was offered a ticket in the home end but politely declined, I can't sit there whilst town fans celebrate pretty much guaranteeing a play off place and take the pass out of us for getting relegated. It just saddens me so much that this relegation should never have happened.
I remember the Huddersfield game during our slide into league one with Danny mark 2. Now that was an interesting end to the game with that weapon from Stoke/America, (not) ready Brekk Shay, and the brilliant lad from Arsenal, Pingpong, getting himself sent off. What a find he was. Can see it getting tasty again tonight if we pick up our expected pasting.
