They've done worse. Think it's similar to our situation, a lot were so anti Val they can't admit that Bruce isn't better, if anything he's worse. Just like Schopp.and Asbaghi.
I know team spirit might be an outdated concept to some but I don’t think it helps that the two biggest characters in Mowatt & Chaplin both left last summer. There’s been no photos of team nights out or trips to the races like the last few seasons. I can’t imagine it helps team spirit when two lads like Oulare & Leya Iseka come in on big money & contribute very little. Cole seems a sulky character & there were lots of rumours about his timekeeping. Only speculating & I could be talking nonsense but I’d guess its not the same atmosphere as the past couple of seasons.
And Sollbauer too. It's no coincidence Mowatt won player's player of the year all the time, although he wasn't a loudmouth, he led by example .
If you are saying that having their first home defeat of the season was going down hill then you are right but they were 5th in the league & were unlucky in the fact that they invested in Dike who instantly got injured but Val deserved to be backed & if they were in a sticky patch he deserved the chance to pull them through but it was a typical knee jerk reaction to bring in the dinosaur Bruce & the rest they say is history, as for Val he has ended up with a bigger club & I hope he goes on to succeed but with a doubt I am confident in my own mind that if he was still here we would not be in the mess we are in now .
