Worth a mention as both possibilities are awful choices. I think we can agree Macron for another term? He hasn't helped himself during the pandemic though annoying a lot of his people by making it as hard as possible for the unvaccinated to have a social life, admitting he wanted to make life difficult for them and piss them off. It could bite him in the backside.

Le Pen getting in would be a total disaster...

This Le Pen “threat” happens every term.

She never gets in. The French always hate their current leader but not to the extent that they let a nut job in.

As much as I'm not keen on Macron, I'd much rather it be him than Le Pen. If a country such as France goes far-right it doesn't bode well for the rest of Europe.

Tbf, she’s not quite as far-right as her Dad was, so it’s not a direct comparison.

Trouble is, Macron has shafted so many people in France, he relies heavily on the City based votes.

Go out into the sticks and they’d burn him. Proper despise him. The farmers would feed him to their pigs.

I don’t think Le Pen will get in, but it’ll be close again.

The thing about Manchester City is they hold onto the ball for far too long and over complicate the game. The lack of structure in their game is poor. I’m glad we don’t have that approach at Oakwell.

Sorry - just trying to find the football analogy for English voters critiquing the quality of French politicians.

It’s like the American election for me. Biden was the lesser of the two evils over Trump and Macros is the same.

Anyone who sees what's happening in Ukraine, sees what our government wants to do with asylum seekers and votes for a far right candidate in any election is sick

Macron to win comfortably according to a vote projection.
Can’t stand the bloke myself but surely better than le Pen
