I am not myself , as Bremang had only a cameo appearance with the 1st eleven & I have not watched him apart from that ,but if by some miracle we could hold on to Woodrow & Morris then I think we would have the best double act in the league & they are still contracted to us so at the end of the day it is our choice so we will see .

He's still.got age on his side. Could yet have a good season or two somewhere but I don't think it will be with us

I think we have to be realistic that the chances of keeping both Woodrow and Morris are highly unlikely. If they have a contractual wage cut, they are both likely to want away and you'd expect their contract to make it more likely to have some trade off for the wage cut being negotiated in. They are two of our older players (our owners and CEO don't seem to like or value such things), have 12 and 12+12 months on their respective contracts and are both easily Championship quality.

We're also in deep trouble financially before we take into account the pending £7-8m drop in turnover upon relegation.

I suspect one or both will have release fee clauses in their contracts on relegation, so it might not be our choice in the end.

Nothing surprise me in football & until deals are done I will remain hopeful that both will be here next season, Morris has only been here 15 months & has spent a lot of that time injured , he seems to enjoy it here & knows the fans love him , he might just want to see it out & as for Cauley it is not so long ago that every body & their grandmother had got him leaving & then out of the blue he extended his contract & again we have stood by him whilst he has been injured , he is club captain & he might just give it a final year like Mowatt did who incidentally was also touted to have been leaving , of course they could be sold by the end of june but you never know , I live in hope !

I'd love to keep them too. And its a real shame they've not been able to form a strike partnership this season due to their respective injuries.

I don't think its now a case that I can't see us being able to keep them or them wanting to move (though I'd be surprised if they were content playing in league 1 as they enter prime years), but more a case that we just can't afford to keep them.

You could be right Helen , but he has struggled at Derby , Barnsley , Ipswich , Bristol Rovers & even when he was at Coventry on loan he did not inspire them to sign him , also if you see the teams I have mentioned there is a clear pattern , each move has been down hill . No one wants to see a young lads career go down the pan & there is still time for him to turn it round ,but I would prefer us to make signings with a bit of confidence instead of gambling all the time & keeping him in my eyes would still be a gamble .

It does look a good league 1 side but the problem is, I would guess 4 of your starting lineup won’t be here.

yea definitely. Though in fairness I’d prefer a front 2 of my Nan (dead 20 years bless her) and Top Cat than those 2.

Ive let go Helik, Styles, Woodrow and the 4 loanees, surely we cant lose more than that and would image the 3 sales bring in £5m in transfer fees and wages savings plus no real need for to spend money on bringing in new especially with our players coming back from loan.
