It struck me yesterday that we don't have a song for Carlton Morris. I know the likelihood is, he'll be off in the summer, but I thought it was a shame that we can't at least give him the recognition he deserves. He's far too good to be playing at the bottom of the championship. To the tune of Belinda Carlisle's heaven is a place on earth... Paul Conway do you know what he's worth? Carlton Morris is the best on earth He plays for Barnsley, and runs all night He scores goals and he's dynamite. {scores goals and he's dynamite}
He has two songs, weirdly one is to the tune you have suggested. I don’t like it myself. The other is what we sang for Adam Hammill.
Morris, we're always dancing....to the tune of John I'm only dancing by Bowie Or M..o..r..r..i..s the striker - to the tune of Boris the spider by The Who
Thank you very much for Carlton Morris, Thank you very much, Thank you very, very, very much, Thank you very much for Carlton Morris, Thank you very, very, very much. (repeat)
Carlton, Carlton Morris Named after a pit village And a car. One's near Monk Bretton The other is a Minor Morris, Morris Minor Sung to the tune of, well, err ....
Oh really. The issue is, the lads who start the songs only seem to sing them one and a half times through. So by the time us at the West Stand side of the Ponte have figured out what they're singing, they've stopped. The atmosphere would improve no end, if we sang a song at least 3 times through. I'm also in favour of a drum
