It's a shame it could be at the expense of Scotland. Incidentally Scotland will have the weight of the World against them when they play Ukraine. Seems unfair to drag it out while June when Ukraine Footballers are highly privileged athletes who could play the game now. I get the compassion part. However, the sentiment will be the same in June I should imagine. Just kicking the can further down the road.

 

Watched it last night on S4C. Great atmosphere and singing in Cardiff, a well deserved win, with Gareth Bale on fire.

Think Giggs being suspended has worked in Wales favour. Could never support a manager who routinely ducked out of playing for their country though, too hypocritical.

 

Or shagged his brother's wife for a few years, or beat up a girlfriend in the 90s, or is awaiting the outcome of domestic violence charges....

There's an element of that yes. Without going into rapture. Circumstances change and people change. I won't condone any sought of violence domestic or otherwise. However, I've seen first hand how easy things can spiral.

There are those that genuinely regret their actions.

 

I watched the game after I'd seen the Budapest Baggio make his debut. Good Luck Wales!

 

The commentary was in Welsh of course, (including John Hartson's summary!) but it didn't detract from the enjoyment of seeing all the Welsh team at 100% for the cause, backed by a highly charged up crowd.

 

In my eyes domestic abuse makes you a bad person. If you ve changed, you own it and apologise and make your actions show you've changed.

The Cardiff City Stadium is a brilliant venue and the Welsh National Anthem is made for these occasions - Praise for the Land of my Fathers - support for the Welsh language etc - plus everyone in Wales sings on these occasions (whether or not they can sing in tune is another matter!) and I think it gives the team a massive lift.
What Page has got is a team that isn't afraid of playing - a team that isn't too pre-occupied with playing to a strict pattern of tactics. And of course we have Bale - and Ramsey not far behind.

You claimed I have repeatedly made racist remarks about our owners which is completely false and extremely defamatory. Back up that statement or rescind it.

 

Doing significant harm to someone over a period of time and then 'genuinely regretting it' doesn't make you a good person either. But people should be able to forgive others because without forgiveness and empathy you're left with cancel culture. Has Giggs ever shown actual remorse for what he did to his brother though? I agree. However, I take people at face value. I have certain thresholds. For example somebody who kills in self defence has had some bad luck. I'd take them at face value. Somebody who preys on people and is evil like Fred West doesn't. A rapist doesn't etc.
