https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60756870 Is it just me that thinks we may have made a deal for Iranian oil, and Nazanin Zaghari for a reduction of sanctions on Iran?
I think that's absolutely whats happened. Given we could have paid the £400m at any point in the last 4-5 years, and indeed, DePfeffel could have made up for his comments that worsened the situation back in 2017, it's all very curious how we suddenly agree to the amount now, given the pending oil and fuel crisis.
And just an additional point, away from the politics of it. With the vast swathes of crap going on in the world and the dark clouds in so many areas of life (not just my own situation), it's quite a beautiful thing watching Nazanins husband beaming with joy that his wife is coming home and the delicious simplicity of wanting to make her a cup of tea. There aren't enough things that are heart warming. But thankfully, this very much is.
all to do with the negotiations around the Iran nuclear deal no doubt. Joe Biden has switched tactics from Trump and is trying to repair the relationship somewhat with Iran - one big consequence of this is that the Saudi's and UAE have refused to increase Oil production and have refused to speak to him! Its all a big game and she is just one of the pawns.
I’m rarely in the town mate. Was at the docs today then took a walk up and around Balgay Hill. Testing out my pacemaker.
