    Remember Aggy as a really gifted midfielder (converted from a striker). Nice lad and formed a really effective central pairing with Jim Dobbin.

    I saw him score in the FA cup at the Dell back in 1985. It was just as the strike was ending. I recall people talking about the shift they were on when they returned to work.

    I was there and seem to remember the away end being pretty full although the Dell was a weird shaped ground.

    It was a Monday night. There had a couple of postponements die to bad weather. We lost 4-0 to Liverpool in the 6th round played the following Sunday televised on ITV.
