Greatest songwriter of the 20th century. He can carry on forever as far as I’m concerned. Nothing remotely compares to what he and his three mates achieved. Another example of not knowing what you’ve got ‘till it’s gone.

Going out on a limb here. Solo career, poor. Which is over 50 years. Even his very early stuff post Beatles was bang average. You’d think he’d have had some bangers up his sleeve…but no.
She’s not Glastonbury headliner great yet though. So just another in a long line of swings and misses on that line-up. I get it though. Trying to appeal to a younger audience for the future - but Glastonbury doesn’t need to do that as it attracts such a wide range of people guaranteed anyway. Probably more for commercial reasons though. I won’t be going ahead and buying my ticket this week. I wonder if eight Glasto’s is my number for life now.
it used to attract such a diverse assortment of people. It sounds such a blasé thing to say but the gentrification of the festival actually saddens me a bit, mind since they all cost a small fortune now most of them are going the same way…. long live boomtown and beautiful days!
Whatever. I’m sure you’ve followed his solo career and have an intimate knowledge of it. Like I have.
It’s just a music festival to me buddy. I don’t hold any sentiment for it like you do. I’ve not been to a festival since blink headlined Leeds about 10 years ago or something. I prefer to go and see a band I like, or a band that others suggest I see and what not. Festivals aren’t for me. I was only saying I like Billie.
