This is a difficult choice as everybody played well. That said there were outstanding contributions from Morris, Quina, Andersen and Williams. I can't get a man of the match from those, but if you really really made me I'd have to give it to Morris. Lead the line well, set one up and scored a beauty with a rocket just before half-time
Matty Wolfe for me. Does nothing spectacular but does the needed legwork so well, he is the type of midfield player we’ve been missing. If we can only keep him fit he’ll do a marvellous job for us. Morris was of course great, thought Styles played well, Quina and Bassi looked good on the ball, but for me it was Wolfe in midfield, holding it together, that was key to our success.
I don't think anyone had a bad game but in a team that has struggled scoring then it has to be Morris for his goal and assist. Special mentions to Williams and Wolfe who were also excellent.
Excellent team performance. Nobody had a bad game. Lots of contenders, but I have gone for Quina, because he oozes class and is exciting to watch. Players who are truly exciting to watch are a rarity.
I'll go with Morris for the assist and the goal, although it was another good team performance. Mentioned in despatches, Quinoa, our Shirl and Williams.
The hardest one to pick this season. Morris scored and assisted a goal, but without the midfield behind him, we would have been toothless again. I've gone for Styles, as I feel the last few games, he's looked exceptionally good. I feel he's playing with a bit more freedom now, and linking up very well with Bassi and Quina.
Morris for me - right handful for Hull all game, got an assist and scored a cracker. Impressed with Williams at RCB again but Carlton takes it.
