Just watched a repeat of the game on the red button. Great performance from the boys and I think Bobby Lammie should be an early contender for sports personality - that boy is pure magic with the broom. Let's hope the women repeat the feat in the early hours
Somehow whenever the Winter Olympics is on I always end up watching the Curling! I'm currently off work having tested positive for Covid (no symptoms) and I'm contemplating getting up in the morning to watch Eve Muirhead's team action live.
Eve Muirhead and the ladies' semi-final is on at 12 noon today. It was wrongly reported on the BBC website
Setting the alarm tomorrow though, loved the way we were all calm and collected and the Americans overly cocky!
Gonna be a long day tomorrow - up at 06:50 for the men's final and then stay up till 01:05 in the morning for the women's final - might have to take a wee disco nap after the Coventry game
Please check but I think the mens final starts at 6.00 am tomorrow. I guess the womens will be at noon or after the mens
Cheers for correcting me.. The Independent site does say 6.05 in morning but everywhere else seems different
Here are all the details you need to know ahead of the final: When is the men’s curling final at the Beijing Winter Olympics? The final will begin at the National Aquatics Centre in Beijing, China, at 6:05am UK time on Saturday 19 February. How can I watch the men’s curling final? The final will be broadcast live on BBC Two in the UK, with coverage beginning at 6am. I'm setting my alarm for 6.
According to Eurosport it has been pushed back by 45 minutes “ to allow maximum exposure”. Anyway, we’d best stay up all night to be sure
No need Helen. The match has been re-arranged for 6.50 am (UK time). Direct from the olympics.com website: https://olympics.com/beijing-2022/o...ng/olympic-daily-schedule-date=2022-02-19.htm
So far, the womens match is due to start at 1.05 am on Sunday. We’ll all still be up celebrating a Reds win won’t we ??
