I hope they only watched the first half of the QPR game. They've been living out the second half nightmare ever since.
I don't think a lot of the stick he's getting is just. I reckon the players take his instructions to the nth degree and he hasn't been forgiven for setting out defensively against Peterborough away.
I specifically like the line in his interview where he says we've been unfortunate to make so many mistakes in recent games. Not sure I would call it unfortunate.
Agreed. One mistake is unfortunate. Two is careless. People normally try to learn from their mistakes. So what are we doing Poya?
I mean, he was never going to come out and say: "Yep we're certainly down - it was a mistake to hire me, which has only compounded the complete lack of sensible or appropriate recruitment in the previous transfer windows. Given these clear failings, it was always going to he nigh on impossible to be competitive in this league..."
I think "elite" meaning top of the professional class/qualifications, as opposed to representing his personal value as a coach.

I do actually like Poya as a person. Schopp not clapping the fans and calling out players in the press meant I never cared for him. Poya seems a nice guy. But out of his depth im afraid
