I've gone with Poya who, unlike Schopp, was able to bring his own number 2 with him whereas Schopp was isolated in a new country.
Can’t believe I’m going to say this but here goes. I feel for him a bit. Clearly out of his depth, but my God, no support from above. How many Coaches have we gone through since this shower of incompetents took over? Ten? Including the Caretakers? Every single appointment has been guesswork. Hope and expectation. Not one came here with any pedigree or history. Of the ten they have appointed, they got lucky twice. And even in those cases, one got a 21 word **** off redundancy letter, and the other got a ‘good riddance, your philosophy doesn’t match ours’. That philosophy presumably being losing matches and wrenching the guts out of the Club. This season has been over for a long time for us. At the moment, next season looks like it may well be worse. For God’s sake please, please Go!
Poya. Without a doubt. I genuinely think I could have inspired a team that finished 5th last season to win at least a single game. He's a fraud and doesn't deserve to manage ever again, the *****.
Davies, no. I know Collins has made a few errors lately but overall this season he's kept us in it... as for rest at this rate...
That may well be the case but there is no excuse not win a single game, the Championship is poorer this season too imo.
Not sure how Morais makes it on the same list as these two. Poya and Schopp are horrendous. Schopp wins though. I actually think Poya will one day be a decent manager at the right club. Schopp was ****.
I think Poya set us up well last night. I was impressed with the first half performance. He panicked second half and made unnecessary changes. By the time we got a foothold in the game again it was too late. I thought Palmer did well when he came on. One thing that concerned me first half was too many touches around the opposition box. Morris was doing his nut.
Well a points per game rating of 0.27 almost certainly dropping to 0.25 on Saturday is going to take some beating So far in 11 games we have scored 6 goals lost 8 matches and aquired 3 points I dont see this sort of record ever being beaten - to do it with most of a side that finished in the playoffs last season requires a special level of ineptitude By the way I cant help but notice that so far this season we have actually lost more games than we have scored goals - even in the darkest days of Spackman Hodges and Parkin I am sure we never managed that statistic though cant be bothered to check Maybe under McSeveny as I thought we were called Barnsleynill for a time but even then I dont think so
