They might but why should they have to? The RSPCA is a charity who now have to spend their own money investigating it when the met police have got the clear cut evidence right in front of them. It's like refusing to investigate a suspected paedophile because some 'hunters' on Facebook might do it instead.

I'd go straight through him before he's even kicked a ball. I'd even tell the ref what I was going to do and why

Imagine going this far to defend your Tory mates.

Ransacking a thread about an abhorrent bit of behaviour to a defenceless animal.

    Brilliant.

Its not though is it when the RSPCA have powers to prosecute? What powers do vigilante paedophile hunters have exactly? As long as someone investigates and prosecutes i dont really care.

I work for the Rspca and the charity is really struggling ( I did well to keep my job, a lot have been made redundant) .
I'm sure the Rspca will be involved and doing their best as usual.

Really can't quite get my head around him playing tonight.

Just seen the reaction from the crowd from both sets of fans..

    Well deserved.

What the chuff was Moyes thinking

I have just heard Moyes's comment. He sounded very much like BOJO the clown.

It’s really psised me off that Moyes opted to play him and yet I’m not surprised

You've missed the words "I made a mistake"... never a lie, a cheat, or a crime..... a bloody mistake.... can happen to anyone.

It's not a mistake to kick a cat across a room SB. There's no "on balance I probably shouldn't have done it".

Should be prosecuted, sacked and left to resurrect his career in the lower leagues. Utterly disgusting.

Good job he wasn't at the Wednesday match last night. This is how you deal with a cat.

Gets me when they say he has apologised.
For me it’s not something you can apologise for, it was series of cruel acts on a small defenceless animal, any right minded person would never have done it, never mind posted it so it’s him , it’s in his dna he is just scum!

Fact is money talks, if it had been an academy player he’d be released immediately, because West Ham spent a load of money and hope to recoup some of it at some stage he gets a slap on the wrist.

A lot of my mates are West Ham fans as I live not too far from their ground at Stratford - all of them want this guy sacked now regardless of his importance to the team and I completely agree with them - people who harm defenceless animals like this should be shown no mercy, like the footballers who rape women - kick them out of all forms of football in this country and send a message out once and for all that this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated.
