Tried doing that garden birdwatch but there was only 1 for ages!

    I did it last year which was great. It a bit of a nonsense though regarding counting the birds. Too many spuggies

    I love doing it. Although, it's very rare that we have any exotic visitors in our garden. For me, I'm more than happy to see Sparrows, Robins, Blackbirds, Wood Pigeons, etc. in our garden. It's far better than not seeing any.

    It’s weird up here there’s hardly any Spuggies at all and a lot of them are Tree Sparrows.
    I just picked a bad time, I couldn’t understand where our usual lot had gone, then I saw the reason!
    Even after it finally took off there were only a few tits and they were behaving very nervously.

    I'm sitting on the patio here in Colombia and the birdlife is amazing. Parrots, Ibis, vultures, flycatchers, humming birds. Everything seems to be bright yellow or red or blue. It's a bird watcher's paradise.
