While I totally agree with lots that’s said about the disgruntlement with our current owners, I also believe it’s about time time the bleeding PLAYERS stood up and be counted and show some good old fashioned passion !......Styles, Britain, Helik, Anderson, a could go on and on!.....they need to show some ******, all we here is them talk the talk in Barnsley Chronicle, it’s time to walk the walk I think. I am not too bothered if some get flogged at end of season if they aren’t prepared to put up a fight to keep us up!!!!!!!
I believe a few are not championship standard. But the main issue is the clueless tactics they are being instructed on. Any team that watches videos of us play. See the same mistakes over and over again. Pretty sure most of us would know how to beat us tactically.
I agree mate, however you can’t excuse lack of effort, i,e, failing to track back(Palmer for one and there’s plenty of others), .....they need to show some bottle .....they would do well to take a leaf out of the attitude of the players of Derby County!
Had a little chuckle to myself when Palmer appeared to have a go at mads on Tuesday. Yet he has cost us goals and a penalty with his faffing around trying to do the fancy thing. Players approaching him to comfort him. I agree on your comment re chasing back. Spurt on for a couple of seconds then just stops.
Even if the season is done; even if relegation is nailed on; as a player, would you not want to fight to ensure the words "... was part of the team with the worst record in the history of the Championship." are not on your CV?
