We'll win tonight. Impossible to imagine such a nailed on home banker. Forest are flying. After a dodgy start they've put together an impressive run of results that sees them hovering just outside the playoffs. Not just results either, they look a good team. And they're playing a catastrophe of a club. We've the worst record in the football league, possibly the entire professional game across the globe. We've attempted to cancel the game as we literally can't put a team together, even the manager is knackered. There will be Barnsley fans hoping we lose, such is the disillusionment with the owners, in the hope yet another defeat accelerates us towards their exit. And we're rubbish. Just utter rubbish. The most optimistic amongst us know we'll lose. Not think, know, because we can't play. We'll be selecting a couple of players who can hardly walk alongside some kids who can barely play coached by some bloke no one has ever heard of, whose previous position was, erm, no idea, coaching the brothers and sisters of the Swedish under 5s in some Scandinavian creche type scenario. Probably. Who knows. We're going to war against the marines who are dug in with a million tons of artillery aimed directly at us and we're a Sunday School dance troop, armed with a tamagotchi, half of us haven't turned up, and our general is Charlotte's dad who got the position because he's not as bright as the other dads and couldn't think of a reason he couldn't do it quickly enough. Forest 1-2 Barnsley
We do have more Wins (1), Goals (1) and Points (2) than Burnley, but we've played 7 extra games than them to achieve this lofty height.
I'm 65 in 2 months time...A dodgy leg.. 3 discs fused in the lower region of my back along with numerous other problems s with my spine couple that with the numerous TIAs ive had....and I'd still lay money I'd put in more of a shift than our midfield does ..... Can't see anything other than a heavy defeat tonight against the tree huggers So Tree huggers 7 the spreadsheet 11 nill
I hate saying this, but, it could be a very, very heavy defeat tonight I can quite easily see Forest getting 5 +
I can remember long away trips to Brighton and Reading in 2013/14, both of whom were flying, and who we traditionally never do well away against. I don't think we'd won an away game before playing Brighton, and I think our next one was about 5 months later at Reading. You never know. Except I do know. We're sheite and down to the bare bones. And Steve Cooper, although a mutant, is a good manager with our number.
Barnsley are 7.5 on Betfair tonight, that means if you put £50 on you lose £50. Actually it’s 8, and yes I have had £50, must be flaming mad. It’s now 27 and cash out is £13.80, my financial position in the last 20 minutes is a microcosm of BFC, betting on young inexperienced players and haemorrhaging money.
I just don’t see us getting anything out of tonight’s game. I would love to be proved wrong, but looking at the lineup, we are in deep $hit
