Can't be arsed to read the article but I bet the salary is "competitive", in BFC terms about £12kpa :D:D:D

My first thoughts also funnily enough.
Basically we won’t be paying the average going rate.
    Apply at your own peril.

Reckon I could do the job but sadly I only got my cycling proficiency certificate and 10 metre width badge for the sport bit,I had a chemistry set bought for Christmas as a kid so that’s the science bit covered,I order our lass prescription online so medicine ticked,if I throw in my green cross code road crossing qualification might just swing it,**** it I’m off for it :)

For something that requires a degree, relevant experience, has some pretty bad working hours, and is effectively a management position that is an abolute joke. No wonder other clubs manage to pinch BFC staff with such ease.

Yet we pay ‘CEO’s’ with no experience and often little idea, something in the region of £140k a year.

I understand this role has been vacant since August 2021 when the guy doing it stepped up to the first team...

The guy who did the job before that left 6 months earlier to take a job as a 'Cardiac Rehabilitation Instructor' with the NHS.

    Less prestige, but more pay.

    Seriously??
Next time it comes up, I'll do it for £100k and I promise to be more inventive when batting away the "where's the £750k" demands than the current one.

"Well, what happened was that the petty cash tin lid was up and a squirrel got into the premises through a hole in the West Stand - probably attracted by the scent of those wonderful new flatbreads. Anyway, it pee'd all over the money, so we had to peg the notes out on the washing line to dry. But it was a bit windier than we realised, see, and when we brought it back in and counted up, we were a bit short. I reckon three of those £250k notes must still be out there somewhere, just floating around. That's what Mr Conway reckons anyway, so it must be true."
