Theres a hint of chocolate but it’s too light so it doesn’t carry the flavour well enough. The dunkels I’ve had in Germany and Austria generally have had more depth to them. Not many uk brewers get the Germanic beer styles. I had an alleged wheat beer from nailmaker before Christmas, and I think it might be one of the most evil things I’ve drank.
Sadly I concur. I’d hoped it was a bad batch, but given out of a dozen different beers, only one was moderately drinkable. I got a free glass though!
