Today, I have to say Goodbye to my Dad for the last time....

    Lost my Dad in 1995. He is with me everyday in my heart. Lost my Mum 2009 she to is with me every day.You are correct to remember all the good time, its what he would have wanted I am sure. Be strong for your Mum she will need it but also be strong for yourself too. Your Dad would not want to have you hurting and he will always be there for you. I still speak with my parents iknow they hear me , and it gives me strength to feel this way. I am totally sorry for your loss I send my heart,love and prayers you and your mum be brave fella.

    Hi JamDrop & Helen. Thanks for your kind wishes and support but rest assured I've had a few meltdowns and some have been with Mum, so I'm letting it all out :) I think we're both looking after each other at the moment.

    Just a shame it's under those circumstances. Was good to see your Mum, look after her pal, but make sure you look after yourself.

    Take care lad. It takes a while to get over a loss. It took me a couple of years to come to terms with losing my dad and my sister.

    I'm sure my dad was there at Wembley on 29 May 2000 when Hignett smashed that 30 yarder.
