    Agreed, i can't see what the issue is. They're just having a few drinks with the opposition after the series has finished like has happened in pretty much every other series.

    Having a drink with the opposition players after the series has finished has been happening for decades, and I personally don't have a problem with it. They've been away from home for a while and stuck in bubble life, the fact that they're not very good a cricket doesn't disqualify them from having a life.

    I don't know what the regulations are in Oz, so can't really comment on them.

    Seems a bit Al Capone that Thorpe might lose his job for filming and leaking this, and not for coaching bad habits into batters for years.

    This is bit I don't get. Thorpe was a brilliant batsman in his pomp. He retired with people wanting more instead of glad to see the back of him.

    Yep, and during his whole career, I don't think he ever had a bad run of form which led to him standing outside of stump and facing the leg side, which seems to be the technique that this current lot always end up adopting, even if they come into the side with an orthadox technique.

    Root and Silverwood are hiding behind schedules and the Hundred as excuses a bit for me.

    Absolute non-story.

    Of course they’re entitled to a drink at the end of a tour. They make it sound like they ripped up the town. They sat in a small group in the hotel bar and moved when they were asked to.

    On the plus side, it was the longest session the England batsmen had the whole series.

    I also heard that Djokovic has been retained by the ECB as a batting coach. He knows nothing about cricket, but it did take the Aussies two weeks to get him out.
