    I'm still at loss as to why you've become so defensive, to be honest.

    You implied I was putting words into your mouth in the previous post, when I asked a question, and I'm not quite sure where the subsequent outrage stems from, based on my answering the your query.

    The general point still stands though. In my view, not selling anyone in this transfer window wouldn't be something I'd give the board credit for, as there's no tangible benefit to be gained from them doing so at this stage to justify it.

    In terms of a morale boost for supporters at this stage, I'd argue that selling, say, Helik and using some of the proceeds to bring in a couple of meaningful signings where there's an obvious need (e.g. experienced midfielder plus replacement CB who's going to still be part of the League One campaign) would be a more positive development than keeping him here and signing no-one because we didn't free up any funds to do so.

    Fair enough. Much easier to get crossed wires in written form than when talking face to face.
