That’s another thing, how much ‘domestic’ unrest has he caused by taking his wife/ partner to a ‘ works event’ when many will have told theirs’ they can’t go coz it’s a ‘works event’
How can anybody expect the Tory back benches to speak out against Boris when they have previously and openly accepted the help of the D U P to attain power ...A party lets not forget who have homophobic views plus whilst on the said subject let not also forget certain black and Asian members of this Tory government whilst in Parliament who back Boris even after his piccanies and letter box references They not only don't have any self respect let alone respect for culture or community of others so how can we be then expected to respect their work ethic or views and back their judgement when obviously that judgement is flawed and becomes self indulgence when towing the party line Not only is Johnson a shambols they all should hang their own heads in shame They have no self worth and should be ashamed of their actions in my opinion just by accepting it all in the first place no matter which party you support theirs no room for racism discrimination or bigotry That alone in my opinion is why Johnson and co should walk
They’re all too busy waiting to find out if they actually went to a party or not. They currently don’t know. But, washing machines! This Henry Bolton fail is genius by the way.
I find it refreshing to find that in the light of 100 being invited and only 40 turning up, at least sixty people who work in Downing Street have better judgment than the manchild “in charge” AKA our glorious leader.
Or it’s because they didn’t agree ( too tight) to taking their own booze, especially when previously the cheese and wine lot got theirs free
Panic over folks. He's apologised. As you were. Oh, so has Djokovic. It must be the new normal. Apologise and crack on
Yes he's very sorry that millions of people have got the wrong end of the stick.... because it was a work event, that he had no knowledge of, but just so happened to turn up for for around 25 minutes, with his other half, who isn't employed there.... officially, who had a quaff of gin, just to fit in, probably, and though technically, it wasn't breaking his rules and laws, he's very sorry and with captain hindsight on his shoulder, he thinks in a parallel universe it shouldn't have happened. But he's very sorry and takes full responsibility, as long as he doesn't have to face any consequences, of course.
We've all been there. You stroll out into your garden, see dozens of people on the lash, wait for 25 minutes before going back inside, saying "carry on with your work".
Has anyone noticed that this party happened 5 days before the Barnard Castle episode? It makes you realise that Cummings came out with his ridiculous excuse because he knew he would get away with it no matter what he said. I am more than a bit fed up with people giving De Ethel the benefit of the doubt saying that there is no certainty anyone could do better. Of course no one knows that -how could we. All we can go on is facts, and the facts are that Ethel has been a disaster in everything he has done since he got the job. We won't know that Starmer or whoever can make a better fist of it till we give him, or somebody else, a chance
Actually, I've just realised it was my daughters birthday. We had to drive past her house and wave to her in the garden. Ba5tards.
I don't know if she thinks she's being funny here or what? One of the most bizarre interviews I've ever seen, maybe that's the point.. I hope she doesn't get re-elected, whatever constituency she's from. They are really just taking the pss now, out of the whole country. But when the next wave/tsunami/variant comes along, I wouldn't bet against most of the country sitting up to attention and tuning in for the 6 o clock news with Boris Johnson to stringently follow the new set of measures that are rolled out, because Boris sez. There's a crazy loop to all this, it's like a case of bad deja vu that won't go away. Soon they will turn things back on the public, and point the finger at the unvaccinated again, and the Tory lies will once more evaporate into the toxic ether.
