    Were there light snacks. Cheese and wine seems to be the order of the day. I must admit I'm liking my pate at the minute. Duck and Orange or Liver. Nice on a bit of cracker wheat.

    This is purely a smokescreen in my opinion, merely a way to deflect everyone's attention away from COVID and the measures, and the jabs and the upcoming sacking of a lot of NHS staff etc

    If true, it would also go to show that the Prime Minister is merely a mask on a face and can be replaced as and when the stringpullers see fit to do so.

    Look what happened to Cameron when he slipped up and gave us the referendum on the EU....video released oops, sorry, leaked of him having his dirty way with a pigs head...alledgedly.

    The guy needs to go for sure, but whoever replaces him, it will be the same old script, juat a different mask on the face.

    Dont forget we also have the NHS "Privitisation " Bill , the applalling Nationalities bill and the Policing bill with effectively bans legal protest all going through whilst we are distracted by the party stuff

    If I were a cynic I might suspect someone is carefully leaking all this Anti Boris propaganda to keep our eyes off the really important draconian legislation going through at the minute. That would be someone far clever than the PM and most in the current cabinet though so I am not sure who that is

    Interesting that this is all coming to light just as Boris seems reluctant to impose further lockdown measures.

    Anyway, I'm sure he'll give it the old: "Mr Speaker, I don't think the public are interested in the trivialities of a small, socially distanced work meeting where colleagues shared a beverage, they want to know about the booster rollout..." etc etc

    He'll hang on.

    Boris Johnson wants us to wait for the outcome of the enquiry despite admitting in the House of Commons he broke the rules, saw others breaking the rules, and as both their employer and leader of the governing party of this country did nothing about it.
    Is he expecting the enquiry to find some mitigating circumstances?

    The garden is an extension of the office. He attended for 25 minutes, took it as an extension of a meeting, and thanked his hard working colleagues. He definitely didn’t know it was a party and he’s definitely definitely really sorry….. that they got caught.
