we don’t pay Championship wages. That’s the problem. We pay top end of L1 wages. Can’t disagree with the rest though.

Nah watched most of it on a dodgy stream. Like watching a car crash.

Ah well then for once my own opinion is superior to yours.

Having been there and watched the whole game in full panorama, we did deserve to win. And I'm one of our fiercest critics.

    We were terrible though.

fair dos I wasn’t concentrating too much to be fair it I thought that in that second half without Morris we lose pretty convincingly.

    Just watch Vita's career.

Today will probably be it's highlight. And he missed two or three clear through on goal chances. If he's a winger, he went past his man once.

This was Barrow he was playing against. With ten men.

He often had the freedom of Oakwell. I can think of a couple of dozen without trying, in his position, who would have killed that game for us.

Brilliant? More like mediocre. He tried though - I'll give him that.

If we'd scored 4 goals with 10 men and went to ET against a top 6 Prem side we'd be thinking we deserved to win, no doubt about it.

My personal opinion is that any fan disillusioned, fed up etc still should want us to win. But i laughed. Out of embarrassment and its almost a laugh or you have to cry scenario. I also think its equally wrong to be polishing up a game and situation where we clearly are in a very poor situation as a club. We have no right to win the game. To be held or even lose by a goal i would say is good old fashioned cup competition. To let 4 goals in from a lower league team, isnt good. It gets worse when you think they had 10 men for 120 mins. Even worse when we are at home and were 2-0 up. Then you look at the performance and see we are a lightweight team who easily get brushed aside, cant pass cant cross and looked 2nd best for spells including latter stages. barrow were great and we were very poor. Its fair to give a hats off to them. But for us - we are awful. I spoke about being embarrassed at our club recently and the club are doing a great job at giving me evidence to feel so.

WE WERE TAKEN TO EXTRA TIME BY A 10 MAN TEAM FROM 2 DIVISIONS LOWER. IF YOU ARE NOT WAKING UP ON SUNDAY MORNING & SMELLING THE COFFEE YOU NEED TO SEE A PSYSCHOLOGIST. YES EVERYTHING IS IN UPPER CASE.

I laughed at least a dozen times watching the game. I'd question the sense of humour of anyone who didn't. It was a hugely entertaining game, made even more so by the lack of entertainment on offer in the majority of the previous 25 games we've played this season. Part of that entertainment was the absurdity of it all. It was farcical, and like many I find such preposterous events really quite funny.

Cole scoring a goal of such quality, after playing so badly and suffering the ire of a frustrated crowd, myself included, I found hilarious. Not least because it made those of us who'd given him a piece of our minds look rather silly.

Kitching was that bad that my anger with him turned to laughter. It was like watching someone stuck on a patch of ice falling over again and again and again.

As the game wore on the gap between us taking the lead, Barrow equalising and us going in front again got less and less to the point where a team would kick off run up the other end and score. That we could play so badly and score goals of such quality I found funny. That we could be taken apart so easily by a team that runs on a budget a fraction of ours I found funny.

And I must say, after watching the effort put in by the Barrow players for 90 minutes, their will to win, I had a lot of admiration for them. Particularly when I contrast that with the lacklustre performances we've put in this season.

Footballers are amongst the most privileged people on the planet. We have a squad of players who really aren't all that good, who often put in only token amounts of effort but are paid ridiculous sums of money. In any other profession you've got to reach the top to be paid such draw dropping figures. In football you can be bang average. Watching just how ridiculous that situation is played out before us yesterday I found pretty funny.

Take Morris out of team and we would have lost , embarrassing performance from rest of team and just shows how bad we’ve become .

I didn’t mean deserve to win as in they were better than us and were unlucky. I realise now that is the classic meaning of ‘deserved to win’ and I’ve obviously used it that way loads of times. I meant I felt they deserved the reward of going through for the sheer effort they put in to keep drawing level considering the fact they are in League 2 and were down to 10 men. I know that’s not how it works in a strictly literal sense but emotionally, they deserved it more for me.

It was like watcing a car
They deserved a replay which they would have had in normal times & they would have beaten us in that.
