It seems to me the same talk of ground shares with wigan, bradford, rotherham etc, shutting the west stand, the poor manager apointments, conway going missing, appointing a ceo who goes awol, telling fans we changed to tippy tappy so we could get more money for players, reluctant to get any experience in, the court battle, the 750k..... I think the way the fans have been treated is shocking a meeting with the fans or a statement from conman saying whats going on and how they aim to improve etc would have put some fans minds at ease but nothing at all. I remeber when we 1st started with the signing under25s model as we were sick of older players coming for the last pay day and basically taking the piss. Now every player has to be u25 we have a squad of about 30 players some would be better on tills in lidl than playing pro football and the sole purpose seems to be trading of young players for profit no concern about division or results. Sad state of affairs.
Exactly, they’re not intentionally trying to run the club into the ground, they’re just not very good at running a football club.
As someone said yesterday, sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between being inept and being deliberately disruptive.
Had a few pints with a Wednesday mate yesterday. Conversation turned to ownership, kid you not, his rant on Chansiri lasted the best part of a hour and I swear he didn't draw breath...Embargos, points deduction, ground in the hands of shady third party, sale of next season's tickets to fund this season and on and on and... Fair doos though, he still attends matches...
She was amazing Love her different relationships with the other characters, her one-liners, the way she winds Jim up, and how Jim got so emotional when her character died. Amazing show.
Just had a quick look at spend since Ineos guy took over, was surprised to see not massive amounts spent on transfers, there are a couple of 10m don’t get me wrong but most are a lot less, also there outgoings don’t look bad either. Wages have 11 players between 21&55k a week though. Average age just over 24!
I lost interest when those blue twisty bags of salt were stopped. It's now just crazy out there, flavor-wise.
I thought i'd won a fiver, the first time I got one of those. The disappointment when I shook it and salt dropped out. I don't know how I imagined a £5 note could fit in that tiny packet, but I was about 6 years old at the time.
I must admit ive posted that I feel think this lot are up to summat, even looking at their other clubs ya have to ask why buy yet more clubs if ya sh*te at running the others. but will also admit I dunt kno what the end game is, it certainly aint being successful and gaining top status at any of their clubs. Did think it was player trading but they vastly devalued our lot from last season to this...maybe it is incompetence but as they are supposedly worth millions even that dunt ring true. just av to keep supporting the club through thin and thinner
I think it's like a property portfolio. But me good season at one of the clubs and then offload the whole thing for a big profit having invested zilch.
