Too easy for South Africa by the looks of things.

It helps when the top order bat long enough to knacker the bowlers out.

India’s tactics have been baffling. Thakur has been their best bowler all game and he was 4th choice today. Opening with a spinner in these conditions was very odd.

Another day of a delayed start and little play throughout. The weather God's are saving us from a 5-0 whitewash.

You have too much faith in the weather.... or our batsmen. The Aussies only need a few hours

Funnily enough the bookies think the same. Bet365 have the under/over for runs at the loss of the first wicket at 27.5 so they have little faith the openers can double our current low score.

Stokes just left a ball which clearly glanced the off stump making a noise as well but not removing the bails.

Umpire gave him out assuming it had taken a loud edge to the keeper.
We referred and obviously it was not out !

    Most bizarre

At last… an entertaining session from our batsmen.
Bairstow and Stokes playing their natural games is a delight to watch.

Admittedly, the bowling was average but what the heck, that was our best session of the tour so far!

It seems so obvious ( well to me anyway ) that Buttler needs dropping from Tests to concentrate on white ball.

Once again he drops a crucial catch and fails with the bat, it just goes to show players are not picked on merit in cricket.

Butler should never see test Cricket again and both openers need dropping.
