I want all the players in the team to believe they can be better, even if it is as you say’ betterthan they are’ Every player wants to improve their game.
For me All the Coach has said here is he’s glad he didn’t slope off with his head down after his mistake and wanted to get on with it.

I still think these narrow defeats are clouding judgement, it could quite easily have been 4 or 5 nil before halftime and it wasn't due to our defending that it wasn't.

 

Or the team continues the tradition commenced under Schopp of being picked via a pre-match tombola!

Is it too much to ask to turn up and find that Palmer, Benson, Vic, Moon, Williams (B) and Oduor are just nowhere near the team? That in itself would indicate some modicum of progress to me to ease the gloom and depression that hits me now at the mere thought of passing through a set of turnstiles.

I turn up and get behind whoever's on the pitch but it's damned hard when three minutes in you remember just how not good enough they are.

 

I agree, I'm not sure it'd serve any purpose to be openly critical.

Having said that, I'm sick of hearing positive soundbites this season when in truth there are very few to be had. I find the content of most interviews exacerbates my frustration as they often seem to lack realism and honesty. In fact I'd rather Asbaghi say that whilst no disrespect is intended to fans, it's time to stop talking and just focus on turning things around on the pitch. And that they'll start talking again when there's more positive stuff to talk about. That would at least be an indication that they're unhappy with performances, which doesn't come across sufficiently right now imo.
Btw, I know they'd be criticised by some for hiding so they're probably in a no-win situation.

 

Does seem a bit odd. Should come as standard, you go a goal down and you rush to get the ball to start playing again. May be more noteworthy if it was still the case after conceding 7!

 

Being negative serves no purpose but also people dont like honesty if it doesnt suit them.
Keep going, be positive and get on with it.

 

I'd prefer more of a "we know we've to play some tough games and we're laying it on the line to compete for the win "

 

Just tell Gemma Collins she looks lovely, it doesnt hurt and may make her smile and that my friend would make you feel good inside.

Six games is too early to write-off a manager. However, it is enough time for me to have serious doubts.

Nothing seems to change in our approach to each game, and I lose interest as soon as I see the team sheet.

Fibbing is not the answer, although if you're into extra poundage and have your own idea of beauty, it's a slam dunk and Gemma Collins looks lovely (I had to check who she was I admit.)

Do you simply want to tell those you meet what you think they might like to hear?

 

There's nothing wrong with being nice to people.
Lifes to short for arguments falling out complaining and booing.

 

There's nothing wrong with being honest either.

And keeping quiet if it's best to.

And engaging in a bit of flattery.

But saying something just because you think they want or need to hear it - mmm.. that's pushing it for me.
