...I'm only the messenger Interesting take on the 2016 referendum results and COVID deaths.... Listen to this guy, he's not a trendy lefty or a Labour activist, he's a pragmatic businessman who runs an acting agency which has been totally shafted by Brexit.
What an absolute load of tosh, the trouble is some people actually believe fake news videos and take them as fact, gullible is putting it politely
There is a lot of fake news about I agree, but would you care to say exactly which bits of this video are fake? As far as I can see he is quoting absolute facts as in the distribution of COVID deaths, vaccine take-up and referendum voting. I guess it's down to your personal bias as to whether you make the same connection that he's made or not. There are clear and indisputable facts here that may or may not correlate, I don't know and neither do you. As I said it's an interesting take on these statistics it's up to you what conclusions you draw.
I’ve not checked the U.K. stats, but in the US the counties with the highest % of votes for trump correlate with the highest % of covid deaths. I’m not watching the video; but I have enough common sense to recognise that people who swallowed the Brexit lies are clearly more likely to swallow other forms of propaganda. And only an idiot believes that Lord Frost has left his job because he disagrees with Boris’ (non existent) managing of Covid. He’s finally realised that you can only pretend that Brexit is a good idea for a limited time before the truth dawns on everyone else.
He quotes that in the video and also some international studies of the attitudes of people who support "populist" leaders. Interestingly, Trump was interviewed on Fox News the other day where he revealed that he'd had his booster jab and was instantly booed by an audience of his supporters....
A bit like Brexiteers calling the remaining in the EU argument as project fear, and low and behold ever they said as come true.
He's resigned because BJ wouldn't back him up by invoking article 16 thus showing his negotiating stance to be nothing more than bluster. In the best of times we couldn't win a trade war with the EU and now is clearly not the best of times. Liz "Cut-and-paste" Truss has started in a similarly pugnatious vein, threatening Article 16 before she's even sat down with the EU negotiating team. What a shower.
