Had to wait for daughters to come home this weekend for the tree, all the other decorations went up 1st Dec.
Quite a chilled evening for the first time in a while. Back home, watched Arsenal beat Leeds and had the boxing on since. Had a kebab with some chips, and a pizza. Got six cans of Polish lager to drain yet. Steady away. In the office most of next week. Christmas isn’t really a chance to unwind in my line of work. Looking forward to Christmas Eve/Day.
Birthday mum and Dad have the Rona. Missis working. Mates too worries about the Rona to go out. Listened to some tunes and got mildly drunk on red wine.
I really like Zelfa Barrett, he’s just impressed me. As for the main event, it’s two fighters I always enjoy watching and who I like as personalities too. I don’t really have a dog in the fight so hopefully a 12 round slobber knocker.
I was impressed with Richards as well, although I'm not sure his opponent was as good as he was hyped up to be. I'd like Chisora to win to keep him relevant as he can always put on a show, but Parker looks to have bulked up and hopefully will go toe to toe with him for some parts of the match. I'm hoping for an 8 round fight finished by a Chisora knockout, just as Parker is looking good.
Walk dog, cook curry with naan (plain for me, peshwari for wife and kids), clean kitchen, run around after patients, more cuppas, sort recycling. Finally play guitar whilst watching boxing. Dry day today, black tea to drink.
Probably better odds last time as they hadn’t fought before? And my stake was pretty high as it was just a given. Is that on points though? Or just the win?
Parker is punching hard and Chisora is looking old. Half a dozen separate shots there made Chisora buckle at the knees
