You’re kidding right?! Before his goal on Saturday he’s had a different thread about him after every game for the last month…
I also saw some tweets about a grown man snatching Andersen’s shirt off a kid after the game. Very strange behaviour that.
He has had dogs abuse this season which has been totally unjust , I always try to stick up for him but I have been swimming against the tide some what I read all the forums & social media platforms regarding the Reds & I can assure Woodrow has taken dogs abuse hence I think his response regarding calling the fans Fickle was born out of .
Maybe you have seen or read something i havent i only really read this forum and what i see and hear at games. Ive no problem with people asking questions of his performances or even been critical. Personal stuff is abit diffrent. Was sad to see victor get ironic cheers when been subbed and booed coming on the field thats dogs abuse. He may not be the most talented but always gives 100% and i think that victor and others of similar ability are still getting games says more about the recruitment in the summer. I remeber brad potts reciving the same treatment no one defends these players because they arent fans favourites. Where as other players get abit of criticism and people defend them.
It is and I hope it's not true. I don't get the obsession with kids shouting for a freebie with their hands out after every match though. It's a new thing because as a kid or teenager I don't remember seeing young uns begging for a shirt at our games. The something for nothing generation is a new thing.
Middlesborough away in the cup. Impossible to move. Terracing was, shall we say. Swimming. I reckon everyones back of the trousers/legs got a soaking. Re the incident saturday. From what I saw. I'd have to agree with a previous poster. Nowt to get up in arms about. And probably a misunderstanding. Talked to a regular red and he said his mate went tumbling down the steps, to his amusement. Uninjured thankfully. Seen much worse. Not excusing moronic behaviour.
Its not the kids who started it though , in recent years its the players who have gone over to the fans & then start throwing their shirts into the crowd , its a way of saying thankyou for the support , its not a something for nothing generation thing as going to football in the first place can be a costly exercise which all the fans inside the ground will have forked out for especially an away fixture but to a lot of kids receiving a shirt off a hero is a memento something to treasure .
Like said i seen players get ironic cheers leaving the pitch and booed coming on. No one has had as much stick as vic the crowd on his back before a ball has been kicked.
