worth a shot I'd say, time is marching on and a point here and there won't cut it. I'm not suggesting a 5 year contract!
Could be too late by then. Knowing that we'd lost Alex personally I'd rather have fixed it in the summer!
Don't agree with you here Helen. Good luck to the lad but he's not what we need right now. I don't think he's championship calibre anymore.
No one's ever been relegated by January as far as I know? Look, I really don't know the answer to our problem at the minute, but I'm sure as hell it ain't Butterfield.
Maybe, but at least (I would hope) some thought would have gone into it, not just a desperate signing because of some distant attachment to the club.
I'm not sure how much more evidence we need regarding the importance of experience. The one time this mob relented we got Sollbauer, and I think we all agree he did a great job. If not Jacob Butterfield, then for God's sake can we sign someone that knows what he is doing!!
Found his level. Can't believe people wanted him to still play Championship level for us. Good luck to him hope it works out.
Good luck to him, should be decent up in Scotland. However there was no way we would be looking at signing him. His legs have gone, well especially for Championship football anyway. Even back in his day his best position was between our midfielders & forwards in a free role, not sure where he would fit in here.
