Don’t see the problem here, they’re simply letting us know that the club are aware of the latest govt. instructions and that they will be in place by the time we play West Brom. That is all the info they have at the moment and will keep us updated as and when they receive instructions themselves from the relevant bodies. Bit of a heads up that’s all, what’s the problem?

While it's funny, "This is an announcement to say we know nowt" it's still appreciated. And it does actually say a lot: The government have brought in measures without giving venues the first clue on what thy're supposed to do about it.
Agreed, but it would be better if it came with an audio recording of that tannoy lunatic going "THIS IS A MESSAGE, A MESSAGE" with it.
According to the Chronicle, we’re set to be the first club affected by the rule change due to us playing on the Friday. All eyes will be on Barnsley to see how it is handled. I wonder if any reporters will turn up?
