Similar format with Paths B and C. Total of 3 teams go to World Cup in Qatar.
Happy with that. Italy & Portugal are probably the two international teams I dislike the most. Happy to see one of them not make it. Really hope Scotland - Wales happens. Be some atmosphere.
Thanks. Agree (as long as the Taffs come out on top!) Not sure where the final of each group is played. Some interesting and unpredictable matches - I think the only certainty is that Italy will stuff N.Macedonia!

As someone who doesn’t really do international footy other than latter stages of Euro’s / World cup…….. I’ll be giving this a watch! Plenty of well matched teams, loads of jeopardy, should be fun. Excellent new format in my opinion.
Thanks Shy T. I watched the recent Wales v Belarus match and it was massively important for us to win by 4 clear goals (we won 5-1.) This meant that we had a 1 goal advantage over the Czech Republic in the final table and this in turn meant that our matches were played in Wales. I wasn't sure if that just meant the semi-final but it seems that if we beat Austria we play Ukraine or Scotland in Cardiff at the end of March 2022. ( a different prospect to the Euros when we had to go to Azerbajan 2/3 times!)
Should be some cracking games - just one match and the winner progressing - no group tables etc. Apart from the Italy- N Macedonia match the others are difficult to call.
I like Italy, wouldn't seem like a world Cup if they don't qualify. But hopefully Wales or Scotland get through
Some good games here. Scotland won’t beat Ukraine though. Ukraine are a decent side and can see Scotland bottling it. It’ll be a Wales - Ukraine final in that pathway. Calling Sweden - Russia and Italy - Portugal other finals.
Portugal will have home advantage in the final if they get through, so Italy could find it tricky to qualify.
Be a right game. Can’t wait to it. Yeh, Portugal will win I think. Italy haven’t exactly been inspiring since the Euros. Shame as they’re one of the handful of teams that ‘should’ be in every World Cup along with ourselves, Brazil, Argentina, Holland and Germany.
The Dutch always seem to be a bit hit and miss with making tournaments, unless im just remembering one. Probably mixing in Euros comps too.
