Seems to have collapsed on the pitch for Sheffield United tonight. Rushed to hospital. Thoughts are with him tonight, hope things aren’t too serious and he recovers quickly and back on the pitch soon.
The radio said he was standing up, though he did need an oxygen mask as he was leaving the pitch. They made it sound like another Eriksen. Went down with nobody near him, and the co-commentator said he was convulsing like a fish out of water. The fact he got up, though, is reason to be hopeful.
That sounds awful, there’s no privacy for them when things like that happen on the football pitch. Can’t imagine how it must feel for their loved ones to see those type of things. I didn’t know he made it back on his feet. You’re right though that is an incredibly positive sign. Fingers crossed for the lad.
Was listening whilst taxing the young un. Said he'd stood up but had an oxygen mask on and put on a stretcher. Hope he's ok.players in both teams reacted quickly to get help onto the pitch.
