When we first appointed him I said this:

Couple of quotes from him in that video have made me feel something.

I reckon we'll be ok, maybe not overnight, but he'll steer us to safety I have no doubt.

Guessing Gomes is still out then, given the space for No.17 in the changing room.

Whose idea is it to have a couple of plastic dustbins in the changing room?
Are they some form of punishment for players who don't do as they are told? "Go to your dustbin Cauley. Bad Cauley, bad."

Back in my schooldays one of the teachers used to call the waste paper bin Box 13. Anybody who was out of line was made to go and sit in it for the rest of the lesson.
I'm sure someone will remind me which teacher it was. Wes Hall?

Different school I think. You could imagine it would be the sort of thing he'd do though. :)

Wasn't he the West Indian fast bowler at about the time of Fred Truman?
What the flip was he doing making you sit in a rubbish bin?

In my day at school (Wombwell high.) Do owt wrong and it was the Dunce cap in the corner from Mrs Bramley . Or walk the stuffed sock ( with a face drawn on it) on a lead round the corridors ( forget his name).

Badge of honour in those days. Cruelty these days lol.

Called it Hortis ?. His pet alligator. :)
    Edit
Mr Ramsden. I stand corrected but I think he appeared on Brain of Britain on the radio. And may have even won it. ?
    Edit 2.
According to wiki he's not among the winners.

We were sent to the naughty wall at break times, back at Elsecar juniors. It was the 1980's. So you'd be stood against a wall watching everyone playing football or whatever. Sometimes, you'd be forced to face the wall so you couldn't even watch others.

I practically lived at that wall.

No. It's still there now. Just on old sandstone wall, below the steps/entrance into the school.
