Big Vic ended their clean sheet run so him. Not sure anyone else even turned up other than Collins did they?

To note, Vic now has more open play goals than Woodrow. Pathetic from our captain

Collins for me but Vic runner up for his goal. Sounded as though Palmer played quite well too?

Didn’t watch the game today, but reading on here I’ll go for Collins. Not for the first time either this season. I can’t see anyone past him who actually has a decent game week in week out. He’s probably our only saleable asset TBH.

Styles put a shift in some good tackles and looked to turn and run at em. Vote should be for the away following though. Never stopped singing, humour, class.

Vic did well to put the ball in the net & credit to him, but his other half a dozen attempts at simple ball control were a disaster, he was shocking as is the comparison to Woodrow , penalties suddenly do not count but I would be amazed if Victor scores 50 goals in his career never mind the length of time Woodrow has been here , Woodrow is an established championship striker , something alas Victor will never be .

Woodrow has played every minute of this season and has less goals from open play that victor how embarrassing is that? Can't have a passenger to take pens. People used to say mowatt was too slow to play center midfield in the championship for me cauleys lack of pace hinders him.

Ironically before Val arrived last season Mowatt was getting pelters on social media basically because he wouldn"t sign a new contract & because the results were poor he got the same treatment that Woodrow is getting now, its not uncommon for Barnsley fans to turn on their better players when we are struggling but like Mowatt Woodrow is a quality player at this level & like the old saying "cream always rises to the top " he will come good again, maybe not with us as the boo boys usually get their way & hound him out but then again if he goes we can always replace him with Victor or the other goal machine Freiser .

I don't use twitter it seems a awful platform, mowatt was consistent for us massive player in promotion under stendel, huge part in us staying up and again in us reaching the play offs the idea he didn't have enough pace to be a top championship midfielder was laughable.
Cauley on the other hand lacks pace and for a year has lacked goals from open play and on current form shouldn't be starting don't know whats wrong with him. Probably our top earner aswell vic will be on a fraction of what cauley is.

I do not use twitter either but I read all forums including those on Facebook & Mowatt was getting the same stick , accusations of being slow, playing for a move , only takes set pieces etc etc , the thing is that early last season & the whole of this season so far confidence is at rock bottom and the whole team but the one thing about quality players do not hide no matter how bad there form is, & like Mowatt last year Cauley does not hide even when his game is struggling but some players never get stick , ( a ) because they are not good enough and fans do not expect much from them & ( b ) they go missing on the pitch , the less touches the less the blame , when you say the that Cauley lacks goals from open play well so does the rest of the team & when we start getting goals from open play then you get the " we never score goals from corners " or " when did we last score from a set piece ? " or " we have got a penalty, who on earth is going to take it ? " , I personally do not mind where the goals come from especially the ones off the training ground , they are the ones what have been practiced , they just do not happen , anyway I have done defending Cauley, the mafia have made their mind up , he is the current scapegoat & they want him out & when this is achieved another target will take over . Oh p.s. you are probably right that Cauley gets paid more than Victor , I wonder why, answers on a post card please .

I actually like cauley and want him to do well i think he has been out of sorts for a full year now. Always looked better for me in a front 2 with moore. At the minute he looks ineffective and needs a rest.
You say he's a scapegoat but twice this season I've watched victor enter the field to a round of boos. He gets paid more than victor because he is supposed to be our star striker of championship quality I wish his goal scoring would reflect this.
Ironic you talk about boo boys and cauley been a scapegoat but don't mind sticking the boot into vic every post who has more goals from open play than cauley and played probably half the amount of minutes. Maybe you were one of the fans who booed him entering the field.

I think Vic has a lot of support from the younger end especially at matches. I like him and pleased he's added to his goal tally but if I had to pick between him and Cauley I'd pick Cauley.

On recent form what does cauley bring to the team? Do you not think a rest could do him good?
