I think we need fresh eyes, fresh thinking on system, fresh squad assessments. For whatever reason the way has been lost. It's a cliche but back to basics for me. Whether you call it the press or just closing people down, we need to get on that consistently. We need 3 in midfield to avoid being over-run and have better opportunities to create. We need width, we need to move ball forward quicker, get in the box and shoot more. We need better movement off the ball, to give more decision making options. We need to 'get stuck in'. New appointment will have much to ponder.
We’re starting again in every sense. Need to build the back room staff back up, new head coach, new ceo. And we’ll be back in league 1 again. The club was left to rot over the summer, and we’re seeing the result of it on the pitch.
Aye and the West Stand too! Gonna take a lot to get up anywhere back up to speed. We were poor against a poor side yesterday.
