Jack was a huge talent in his teen years at Leeds and a good number of championship teams have been after him, but on loan. He was thought to be very close to a move to Stoke in the summer, but it must have fallen through. He will be on good wages at Spurs. I have doubts that this is true. Are we being used as a stalking horse again by his agent just to get the bidding started? Who do Derby County think they can sign? Pick out some of the lower budget championship teams and the agent is trying to secure a minimum standard of playing level for his client, whilst seeking the best salary. We won't get him and I doubt that we are even in for him, unless he is, like Luke Thomas, wanting to return to his home area and would take a massive cut in salary. Very talented player, but not for us. He'll end up at Stoke on loan, or Fulham, Bournemouth, or one of the leading teams with a bit more cash. He has barely played since his move from Leeds and that must be very frustrating for a player who looked a possible world-beater when at Leeds. I wish him well.
