I'll admit, I've not clicked the link. But curious as to how the mood can be low and morale high at the same time?

Seems to have been some very selective editing, obviously the most incendiary of his comments has been omitted from the text version of the interview. Not listened to the ifollow interviews (if they've been uploaded yet) so I don;t know if they've left it in there or if its a separate interview from the RS one.

Talk is cheap. players come out with all these soundbites and cliches week after week and they are forgotten come the following game. You can pick any previous interview and change a few words up and pump it out again. It is refreshing when you get a player that just talks naturally and does not follow a media-trained script. Far and few between those though.

I feel a bit sorry for the media team atm. I suspect that they are hugely conflicted atm, feeling like us and possibly worse as presumably they will have inside info on some of the rumours re training, post match conversations etc and yet their job is to put something positive out there. My guess is they'd like a month off right now.

Whoever pays the Piper calls the tune.. they as always will do as they're told. If they want to keep they're positions that is. They are company employees.
If good news coming out the club is few and far between.. then they just keep stum and ride it out. Which is what's happing now..

When was the last time Whitey was involved in a debate? Just to back up a few people's comments.
I always find Andys comments to be forthright, honest and spoken like a true red and I for one miss his interaction and can only assume he is as sick as the rest of by the onfield goings on but by the nature of his position is hamstrung regarding getting involved.
I stayed to the end yesterday and applauded the players and staff at the end and was upset by the booing of our head coach. That will not do anyone any good, especially in the predicament we find ourselves and I believe that sticking together is the best way out of this mess. Don't get me wrong, I'm very disappointed with the way things are being run on and off the field but after approaching 60 years of following Our Team I'm not going to stop supporting them now. Owners,.managers and players come and go yet we remain so let's rally round each other and turn things round.
Once a Red, Always a Red
