Thought we had three bands of prices, and all Category A games were £36, rather than pricing them individually.
I think the chance of blunts in the home ends is pretty unlikely. I'd hope decent efforts are made to try and limit that on booking, but we have a good number of season tickets this season, that given the large number of areas closed to purchasing tickets, take up the vast majority of the home areas.
I can't see many Barnsley fans paying £36 given our dire performances this season. Most of us have STs and are probably not looking forward to it that much TBH. One of the most depressing seasons on record in recent times. Boris is taking us back to the 70's with fuel / food shortages. We are going there performance wise at the moment. Shame Jim is dead, as some may say Iley in?
Unless things change quickly think a lot of people will vote with their feet when it comes to season ticket renewal. Used to love coming to Oakwell feels like a chore this season.
Anyone know how to allocate their flex tickets online? I’m wanting to cash 2 of my games in on this fixture.
Also,i think you have to have history of previous ticket purchases & it`s unlikely tickets will be available on the day.
He he, back to the 70's - here's a little snippet for your half time entertainment (including that dirty pervert doing a bit of grooming).
£36 to watch a regular league game is ridiculous. I'm hoping to get over for a visit later in the year. If the price happens to be £36 for when I'm there I'll find something else to do. How on god's earth do you change casual fans into regular ones with daft pricing like that?
I haven't got one..... I really haven't. Lad I spoke to other day paid for one of those dodgy sticks. £100 for 12 months then £50 next time to renew it next year. This isn't against the club btw. Every match of ours and others. All boxing. The Ashes. All new films and all available channels. I was astounded when he told me.
Looks like a few have already purchased looking at twitter. With reduced allocation of 2k I think its inevitable many will try the home ends unfortunately.
They won't be on the system so won't get in unless one of our own lot is daft enough to get them one. Then if stewards cotton on it's just a case of seeing on the club system who purchased the ticket for them so they can be banned from Oakwell. The way we are playing at the moment that might not actually be a punishment though.
Surely for a local fixture you can pool your resources of stewards if it means more fans get to go to the game?
Even beyond this, why can't we pool stewards with the local teams? When we're at home and Wednesday, United, Rotherham etc are away, why can't we use their stewards? Surely some would be happy to come and do a shift at Oakwell? Could even put a bus on for them! And it could work the other way around, of course. Surely we can sort something out. This is embarassing.
