A few of the unused subs looked good in the half time warm up. Can i vote for any of them. Or Palmer, he did ok when he came on I guess.
Pity we have appointed a **** coach who is destroying a good set of young lads and a number of **** fans who are so stupid thinking they have a right to abuse these lads. IMO
I agree no players should be abused by anybody and those that did should be ashamed of themselves but if players are not doing the basics irrespective of tactics then they should be asked why . Yes blame the coaches for poor tactics/team selection even motivation although that’s debatable but not doing the basics is down to the players imo , I know naff all about tactics etc but I do know the difference when a players giving his all as opposed to going through the motions .
Cant vote, didn't see the game, judging by the iFollow commentary, I'd probably go for Brad, he kept the score respectable.
Yeah you're right they shouldn't be having abuse aimed at them but I can understand peoples frustration after that garbage. Schopp should have come over and clapped diverted the stick off the players but instead ran straight down the tunnel.
Personally I think anybody that gets so worked up about a game of football that they end up hurling abuse at anybody, be that a player, manager, other fans - needs to have a long look in the mirror and stop being so ridiculous,
Like I've already said I don't agree with abusing players, I didn't agree with the ironic cheers victor got, I didn't agree with the ironic chants. But I can understand why people were frustrated spending 100s on travel tickets, hotels to watch that, without getting into the tactics team selection etc a party atmosphere was silenced in no time and was a afternoon to forget.
I get wound up to the point of shouting wtf was that and the like. But to specifically abuse players or boo, or chant that songs slagging us off is beyond next level.
No doubt he is a great lad, but im seriously considering his actual desire and effort this season. So many times he just jogs when opposition is on the counter, looks like it isnt worth doing for him. Hopefully its just this silly tactic and system making it seem that way.
To be fair, it was Brittain who broke the counter attack up, when Blackpool has around 5 on 2 against us.
Yes, I said that to my dad at the time. Did well in that situation, but he looks half the player he did last season, even his work rate. How long did it take our players to get btw? Its so frustrating because we know just how bloody good brittain and the rest are
